WHAT? James Young High School no longer has a School Board or a PTA. They have been replaced by a single body, the JYHS Parents' Association. The Parents' Association aims to represent every parent or guardian with a child at the school.

WHY? The Parents' Association aims to help the school management team deal with any problems, develop new initiatives and improve communication between parents and the school. We meet on a regular basis, allowing us all, as parents with children at the school, to have an input into the running of our children’s school.  Minutes of all meetings will be available in our archive. A hard copy will be available from the Lanthorn Library.
